Biography

Monserrat Morales is a senior at Wayne State University; I currently have a minor in Latino Studies. She is from New Baltimore, MI and is currently majoring in kinesiology Exercise and Sports Science and a Pre-Med Student. She came to Wayne State as a first-generation student; not knowing much about college inspired her to become a Student Ambassador after experiencing more about college. But with faith and perseverance, and with the support of the amazing people at Wayne State University, and her parents, she has made it to her last year of her undergrad journey. She is also a proud member of Sigma Lambda Gamma National Sorority, where she lives by their five principles Academics, Community Service, Cultural Awareness, Social Interaction, and Morals and Ethics. She is a fourth-year Resident Advisor in the Towers Residential Suites and also in the RA Committee for housing. She is blessed to represent Wayne State University!
