Biography

Tamera is a Research Assistant with the Detroit Trauma Project, directed by Dr. Tanja Jovanovic. She earned her BS in Psychology with a minor in Global Health and Social Medicine in 2021. She is currently a graduate student in the WSUSOM's Master of Public Health Program, with a concentration of public health practice. After graduation she desires to attend medical school and serve to improve healthcare access to populations with limited healthcare resources. She is a member of the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated.
