Biography

Alondra Mireles is a Junior at Wayne State University majoring in English and minoring in Latin American Studies, Criminal Justice, and Creative Writing. She is the current President of the Latinx Student Association, while also dedicating her time to her students as a peer mentor and her education as a current McNair Scholar. Outside of her academic life she serves part-time in the Michigan Army National Guard as a Motor Transportation Specialist. Alondra enjoys reading, writing, hanging out with friends, and most recently, crocheting!
